Muscle Building Turkey Burger Recipe

Turkey burgers are great for building muscle as turkey contains lots of protein and is low on calories. This is a turkey burger recipe with a little spice added as I find turkey can be quite bland on its own.
Turkey Burger Recipe
You will need:
- 500g of minced lean turkey
- 55g of chopped red onion
- 1 Diced Jalapeno pepper(you can use a red or green pepper if you prefer a milder spice)
- 30ml of soy sauce
- 4g of black pepper
- 8g garlic powder
- 10g Paprika
- 3g of cumin
- 5g of mustard powder
- 10g of finely chopped coriander
- 4 low fat cheese slices
- 4 tomato slices
- 4 large lettuce leaves
- 4 wholemeal burger buns
Directions
- Preheat the grill to a medium/high heat
- Put the turkey, onion, jalapeno, soy sauce, pepper, garlic, paprika, cumin, mustard and corainder into a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Mould the mixture into 4 burger patties
- Cook the burgers on the grill for 6-7 minutes each side, or until cooked right through
- Put the burgers in the bun along with the cheese slice, tomato and lettuce. Enjoy!

I’m going to try this recipe, and I must say, if is even HALF as good as that picture looks, I will probably be very happy I did so!
